Normal repair

  Completion and fixing

What it does ?

Use boolean operations on curved surface generate bad shading. The normal repair tool fixes these errors.

How it works ?

Fluent uses the data transfert modifier of Blender. This modifier copy the normal data from an object to another.
Because Fluent is a non destructive tool, the cut object still available without cut, so with correct normals. This correct normals will be used to fix the bad result of the boolean operation.

Becareful !

This process requires access to the real geometry of the object. All the modifiers of the object will be applied. It is therefore a procedure to be performed at the very end of modeling since the object will no longer be editable. However, the original object will not be destroyed, since the add-on makes a copy of the object and works on this copy.

The add-on mark seams and unwrap the mesh automatically.

How to use it ?
