Prepare
With Fluent Catalyst you can make any Geometry Nodes object into a Catalyst asset. However, there are "rules" to respect in the way the Geometry Nodes object is built in order to be compatible with Catalyst.
Inputs
Fluent Catalyst is supporting most of the inputs types, here are the supported types:
- Integer
- Float
- Boolean
- Material
- Object
Vector Inputs
Since the vector inputs are not supported, we advise you to separate each axe into different inputs using a Separate XYZ node.
For each input in the Geometry Nodes, you have to set:
- Default: used to reset the value when using the Reset tool
- Min: used for the adjustment of the input during Catalyst asset edit
- Max: used for the adjustment of the input during Catalyst asset edit
Input Values
It is very important to put "realistic" Min and Max to each input. Those will be used in the mouse adjustment of the setting in the Catalyst adjustment.
Scaling
For a better management of the size of the asset, you can add a Transform node at the end of the Geo tree and make an input named Global Scale (the name has to be Global Scale, or it will not work bevel scaling, see Bevel section).

Global Scale
For convention purposes, we advise you to put it at the first input position.
Bevel modifiers
if you have a bevel modifier on your object, and you added a Global Scale, you need to rename it to FC - Bevel. By doing it, Catalyst will automatically scale the bevel width according to the Global Scale of the object.
